December 31st, 2015 - Arnprior Aerospace, Inc., a leading supplier of structural assemblies, kits and components to the Aerospace and Defense industries, completed the acquisition of all of the assets of Aviation Lemex from Atlas Aeronautik. The new entity is located in Saint-Hubert, Quebec and operates as Arnprior Aerospace Montreal.
This acquisition enables Arnprior Aerospace Inc. to expand its current customer solutions capabilities to include the 5-Axis machining of large, hard and soft metallic structures.
Arnprior Aerospace Inc. now operates in four international locations utilizing more than 340,000 square feet of facility and employing over 900 highly skilled associates.
Established in the town of Arnprior, Ontario in 1954, the company put Arnprior on the map for aviation. By 1960, Arnprior Aerospace had become part of The Boeing Company, where it remained until its divestiture in 2005.
Today, Arnprior Aerospace Inc. is a privately held business. The 165,000 sq. ft. facility is engaged in design, close tolerance, fabrication, precision machining, special processing, assembly, kitting, and integration of aerospace and defense products.
In September 2010, Arnprior Aerospace expanded its operations by establishing a 75,000 sq. ft. facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. The Mexican operation produces metallic components and assemblies for customers around the world.
In 2012, Arnprior Aerospace continued its growth by purchasing a 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Portland, OR, USA. This facility operates as Arnprior Aerospace Portland Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Arnprior Aerospace Inc. The Portland operation produces complex machine products, assemblies, and kits.
AIAC hosted The 2015 Canadian Aerospace Summit at the Shaw Centre, Ottawa during 17th and 18th November 2015. Arnprior Aerospace proudly exhibited at this event which offers a privileged access to the Canadian Aerospace Industry.
Arnprior Aerospace travelled to Europe to exhibit in the largest and longest-running aerospace trade shows in the world. The International Paris Airshow ran between June 15th - June 21st 2015 at the Le Bourget exhibition centre, near the heart of Paris. Being over 100 years old, the show has been central for developments in the global aerospace industry, because of this, the show has become the most important meeting place for the industry professionals, suppliers and customers.
We were pleased to attend the Cansec Exhibition in Ottawa, Canada's Premier Defence Trade Show which ran on 27th and 28th May 2015. Cansec is an annual event and is the largest military and defense show in the country. It was a great opportunity for Arnprior Aerospace to highlight our military and defense services.
In its fourth year, AeroMart provides a platform for essential networking opportunites throughout the industry. Arnprior Aerospace exhibited and was pleased to be part of this event.
